Advice Service

Our Advice service offers specialist short term support (up to a month) to women affected by domestic and sexual violence living in London. We provide immediate advice to women across all levels of risk and can refer them on to our other services such as refuge accommodation, longer term advocacy support, counselling or specialist children’s services.

The Team

Our Advice team takes calls from across London to provide women affected by domestic and sexual violence with immediate advice on their options and staying safe. The team provides advice about the following:

 

  • Safety issues
  • Housing and homelessness
  • Finances
  • Child related concerns
  • Mental health

 

The advice team also offers a specialist service to women aged over 55 who have experienced domestic and sexual abuse offering intensive support and advocacy for up to 8 months.

COVER YOUR TRACKS

If you are at risk, it's vital you remember to delete any information from the computer that could compromise your safety. In this case, this means deleting your browsing history so no one can see you've been on our site. Follow the steps provided by your browser manufacturer to clear your history.

STEP 1

Click on 'Safari' at the top of the screen and then 'Reset Safari' in the drop-down menu that appears.
