Solace Women’s Aid is dedicated to providing a full range of services for women and their children, enabling them to live lives free from domestic and sexual violence.  Our Therapeutic Unit coordinates referrals for the Ascent counselling project supporting women who have experienced or are living with domestic and/or sexual violence.

We are looking for an administration assistant to ensure the smooth running of the service.  This role will involve supporting the therapeutic team, act as a first point of contact to the service, cover the duty line, highlight client risk, process referrals and support with the administration of the counselling service.

Due to the service being extremely busy you will have excellent IT skills and be able to communicate effectively both on a verbal and written level.  Ability to multi-task quickly and effectively is essential.

This is a part time position 20 hours per week (Monday – afternoon, Wednesday and Friday) based in our Islington office.


You will be on Solace’s salary band 2.

Applicants will be on a starting salary of £20,000 pro rata per annum rising annually by £500 to £22,500 pro rata per annum.

HOURS: 20 hours per week

CONTRACT:  Permanent
