We predominantly work with women and children. Our work is holistic and empowering, working alongside survivors to achieve independent lives free from abuse.

Solace Women’s Aid are currently looking for a Senior Independent Sexual Violence Advocate – Complex Needs, for their Rape Crisis service in North London, working with survivors of sexual violence. You will work within a multi-disciplinary team to provide a pro-active crisis intervention and ongoing support service to female victims with complex needs, of recent and non-recent rape and sexual violence within and outside of the criminal justice system.

This post is part of MOPAC’s VAWG Transformation Fund Project and will introduce a new streamlined referral route into sexual violence services in London and enhance support for survivors of sexual violence with complex needs.

Preference will be given to an accredited Independent Sexual Violence Advocate (ISVA).

Qualified applicants (with an accredited VAWG /domestic abuse qualification) dependent on experience: £28,000 – £30,000 per annum

HOURS: 37.5 hours per week including evenings and weekends

CONTRACT: Permanent
