North London Rape Crisis service is a Specialist Sexual Violence Service that supports women who have been affected by sexual violence including childhood sexual abuse.  We are a member of Rape Crisis England and Wales and the Ascent Counselling Consortium in London.

We work in a women-centred way offering short and long term counselling in order to empower women to heal and recover from the trauma of sexual violence. The service is delivered across 2 of the 7 North London Boroughs we currently cover.

We are currently recruiting for the following role::

  • Sessional Counsellor vacancy in Kensington & Chelsea – 7.5 hours per week (day).
  • Sessional Counsellor vacancy in Westminster – 3 hours per week (eve)

You will be working in and Kensington & Chelsea providing 5 sessions per day and 2.5 hours admin

You will be working in Westminster providing 3 client sessions per day, including counselling and clinical assessment and 1.5 hrs admin.

These role includes undertaking all the associated administration tasks, attending monthly clinical team meetings at our head office in Islington and attending clinical supervision provided by Rape Crisis.

You will provide specialist sexual violence counselling to women from an empowerment perspective using the person centred approach and adhere to the BACP code of practice. You will be paid £130 per day or £17.33 per hour respectively and you will be provided with clinical supervision and have access to our in-house Training Program.
