Some fundraising inspiration!

Be your own party planner

Throw an event for Solace and get your friends, family or colleagues involved. Parties, film nights and coffee and cake mornings always go down a treat or why not try something more seasonal; a ‘women’s night in’ for International Women’s Day, a Eurovision karaoke party in May, strawberries & cream for Wimbledon in June, a summer BBQ in August or a festive sing along in December.

Set yourself a challenge and raise money

Run, walk, swim, ride or try something new that you’ve always wanted to do. Set yourself the challenge and collect sponsorship money for reaching your goal. So why not sky-dive, abseil, climb a mountain or hold a sponsored silence?– broaden your horizons while raising money. For the ultimate challenge, sign up for the London to Paris bikeride, they’re already taking registrations for 2016!

Sell for Solace

Everyone one loves a cake sale, so get baking and raise some money for solace at home, work or in the community. If you’re no whizz in the kitchen there are plenty of other ideas – hold a book sale, do a boot sale, organise an auction, set up a festive crafts stall or how about a vintage clothes sale.

Dress up, Dress down

An easy way to raise money and a great way to have fun all for an excellent cause! Set up a dress down day at work or have a fancy dress day with your favourite theme. Violet symbolises dignity so be sponsored to wear violet with pride and raise money for women and children affected by domestic and sexual violence.
