Emergency Appeal – Told by Rose

woman staring out of window with child

Told by Rose, our caseworker, in Barnet

“My service user fled her abusive partner with her children and was waiting for access to universal credit. She was provided with a flat by the local authority but had no money for homeware, bedding, towels or anything.

This woman was only able to flee knowing that we could provide some money to get her settled with the essential items she needed. She had previously been to scared to flee as she wasn’t sure how she would cope financially.

The emergency fund was a lifeline and broke down a major barrier to her fleeing and finding safety with her children.”

A donation to our Emergency Appeal could make the difference to a woman flees abuse with nothing. Change a life today.
