Free webinar series – supporting survivors during COVID-19

We have developed a series of 4 free webinars that are available for frontline professionals who are supporting survivors during this time. Your role in spotting the signs of abuse, and supporting survivors to be safe, has never been more vital.

We know that many services are facing increased reports of domestic abuse, and are struggling to respond. At Solace we have been working with these challenges, adapting our practice to ensure that we are able to effectively support survivors of abuse when home is not safe to them, and their options to escape are limited.

  • Understanding domestic abuse in the context of COVID-19, on Thursday 2nd April, 11am – 12pm
  • Assessing risk during COVID-19 – Tuesday 7th April, 11am – 12pm
  • Safety planning during COVID-19, Thursday 9th April, 11am – 12pm
  • Supporting survivors to flee during COVID-19, Wednesday 15th April, 11am – 12pm

Register for the webinars here.

Please be aware we expect high demand for these webinars and as such, we are prioritising attendance at the live webinars for professionals working in frontline roles. Please register with your professional email address to enable us to support this.

We have also adapted our training so that we are able to deliver it online via video conferencing, to small groups of up to 16. So, if you’d like to attend any of our upcoming open training or if you’d like to us to deliver any of our training for groups in your organisation, contact us at training@solacewomensaid.org to find out more.
