How to leave a gift in your Will
Making or updating your Will is simple and can be done with a solicitor. Here are a few ways to leave a gift in your Will:
- Gift a specific amount of money: You can choose to leave a fixed amount, which can be as small or as large as you like.
- Gift a percentage of your estate: After taking care of your loved ones, you can leave a percentage of what remains to Solace.
- Gift a specific item: You can leave an item of value, such as a work of art, piece of jewelry or shares.
If you have already made a Will, you can update it with a simple document called a codicil. We always recommend speaking with a qualified solicitor to ensure your wishes are carried out.
