Solace Newsletter – December 2024

What a year it’s been!

As the year comes to a close, we’re proud to reflect on all that we’ve achieved together in 2024. With exciting milestones on the horizon, including our 50th anniversary, we look ahead with hope and determination, fuelled by your support to create safer futures for women and girls.

Thank you!

A huge thank you to everyone who has donated to our #IseeMaya campaign and the Big Give. Collectively, you’ve helped raise £42,026 so far! Your support means the world to us and to survivors. Your gift will enable Solace to continue providing life-saving services to women and children across London.

It’s not too late to donate. Maya is a meaningful gift to yourself or gift to a loved one to show your solidarity with women facing abuse. All donations over £20 will receive a bespoke Maya Christmas tree donation. We will be running #IseeMaya right up until Christmas, however December 18th is the last day to donate if you want to receive a Maya decoration in the post before Christmas.

Maya represents the 1 in 2 women experiencing emotional abuse. Show women that they are seen, that they are valued and that they deserve to shine.

We have achieved so much for women and girls this year

And we couldn’t have done it without you.

Thank you for standing with Solace in 2024. Together, we’ve made incredible strides in supporting women and girls to live free from violence and abuse, from expanding vital services to raising awareness and driving change.

Your support has been instrumental in helping us create safer futures—thank you for being part of this journey.
