SASS is a high quality advocacy and support service, which provides specialist independent assistance to the residents of Southwark who are affected by domestic and sexual violence. This includes a package of support covering crisis intervention, risk assessment, safety planning, assessment of needs and individual support planning.

The service supports female and male victims of domestic and sexual violence/abuse and is part of Solace Women’s Aid, a London-wide and nationally respected organisation.

A vacancy has arisen in our busy and exciting office for a full time Case Worker.

A key aspect of the role will be to work in partnership with other agencies in order to be able to provide a more holistic service for clients.

The successful applicant will have in-depth knowledge of domestic abuse and its impact on women, men and their children, as well as experience of providing emotional and practical support to victims of domestic and sexual violence and strong casework management skills. If you have experience of working with victims of domestic and/or sexual violence and a working knowledge of the available legal remedies, housing and welfare benefits, then this is a unique opportunity to further develop your skills and career.

Salary: £25, 770 per annum

Hours: 37.5 hrs per week

Contract: Permanent

Location: Southwark
