Children and Young People’s Volunteer – Lambeth Refuges

We are looking for a friendly, enthusiastic, and dependable volunteer who is passionate about supporting children and young people. This role will work alongside our Children and Young People’s team within a refuge setting, helping to create a safe, positive, and nurturing environment where children can feel supported, valued, and able to thrive.

As a CYP Volunteer, you will assist with the planning and delivery of activities, groups, and events designed to promote wellbeing, confidence, creativity, and positive relationships. You will also support the team with preparing resources, setting up and tidying activity spaces, and helping with administrative tasks where required. The role requires a flexible and responsive approach, as the needs of children and young people may vary depending on their age, experiences, and individual circumstances.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone considering a future career in children and young people’s services, family support, youth work, education, social care, psychology, or other trauma-informed support roles. You will gain valuable experience working directly with children and families affected by domestic abuse while contributing to meaningful and rewarding work within a supportive team.
